Life Story: Ix had a relatively uneventful life up until the age of 18, attending primary then Secondary school and becoming more and more of a science geek, graduating with A Levels in three sciences and Maths. Unfortunately for the world, he subsequently got into the University of Cambridge to study Natural Sciences and as a result got involved with the Cambridge University Comics and Animation Society (#CUCAS) which had long given up the guise that they were anything to do with western animation and comics at all.

Subsequent exposure to large quantities of Japanese media led to the expression of the otaku gene in him and his love for Japanese visual culture began, especially showing interest in moemoe fluff shows, fanservice and shoujo ai. (But also leaving room for serious anime as well, of course). Unfortunately, ideas began brewing inside of him, and he began this blog in May 2006 as an outlet for his strange and disquieting musings.

Having graduated from the University of Cambridge, Ix currently hangs around in the University of Warwick campus with scalpels, hoping to practise dissection skills on any unwary bystanders; and performing impromptu drugs trials on household pets. When he isn’t massacring the local fauna, he resides with his long-suffering girlfriend fiancée Holly in a house in Leamington Spa, England. (who admits to understanding some, but not all of his strange fetishes).

When not in university, Ix mopes around at home in Dartford, Kent (Just east of London) mostly loitering in Bluewater with various people who claim to be his friends and watching the hits counter on his blog (synonymous with watching paint dry).
