Racism? I’m not so sure. The depth of her reaction to “Elevens” goes beyond what the average Britannian feels towards them. Everyone else in the hostage situation that was Britannian was fairly calm; both Shirley and Millay managed to keep cool. My guess is that something happened to Nina in the past concerning Elevens. Otherwise, why feel such intense terror towards a population that had been subjugated?
