Danbooru RIP
Posted on | March 2, 2007 | 10 Comments |

Saddest news ever on the internet, today – Danbooru, that amazing picture resource is now permanently dead.
Many many thanks go to rq for thinking up and maintaining what has become the picture resource for anime fans everywhere. It will be missed eternally, especially by me.
I very sincerely hope that someone will pick up the dbdump and make a go at running it, but I know the chances of it are slim. I was thinking of implementing a small yuri centred version of it on Yuribou, but since rq seems to have written it from scratch, I with my limited programming knowledge, have absolutely no idea how to implement the code.
If anyone else is willing to point me in the right direction, I would be happy to try.
Yuribou – in mourning.

He just posted his source code. You can find him in his mIRC channel if you have problem getting the code to work :).
