Not dead, just back in Blighty

Hi all
Sorry about the lack of updates – love and I have been singly unable to find a place or a time to use the internets for long enough to write a post. There’s no lack of things to write about though (least of not why I keep typing & instead of apostrophes).
Arrived back on Saturday, spent Sunday driving up to Coventry and today induction into my new block of senior surgery. At the moment exhausted and singularly depressed to be back to work again, but love should be coming up this evening, so things should look up from there.
Too emotionally scarred from being pulled from my bara-tinted little Japanese world of doujinshi and yurimanga that I can’t really think of a whole post to do right now, but I’m sure one will surface soon.
I bought approximately 1 metric tonne of manga and doujinshi. was slightly scared that a 30×50x100 solid block of paper in the middle of my backpack would be mistaken for some kind of explosive device on the airport xray, but Japanese customs are probably used to that kind of thing ^_^
And the last and most important bit of exciting news: Love and I are engaged!Â
Feel free to send engagement presents to the comments field below…

Congratulations to you both! Im sure youll both be very happy together. Keep us updated!
When I visit Japan, I plan on taking a big suitcase just completely empty and bring it back full of anime collectibles and manga and doujinshi. Thats to put the stuff that wont fit with my clothes or in my backpack, of course.

Congrats on the engagement. :)
Now… >.>
When are you going to clean the hacked crap links out of the blog page? There are three sets of 1000+ links on the main page (one in a post, two in the footer), one of which causes the latest Firefox to hang badly.
(Sorry, don’t see an email contact address here. Already notified Mozilla about the bug.)
April 23rd, 2008 @ 3:46 am
The hack links are visible because of an unclosed quote in the blog’s link to DreamHost. The bright side is that they helped find a crash bug *and* a hang bug in Firefox ;)

Thanks also to Jesse for pointing out the missing quote mark – somehow I managed to miss the fact that my page got hacked ^_^;; Glad some good came of it anyhow.
