The last semi final place is taken by Saber and Rin of Fate/Stay Night!
Now we’re getting down to business!
Welcome back to the semi finals of the Yurivision snog contest! The contestants have been whittled down to just 4 of the very elite of yuri snoggers but only one pair can win to become the yurivision snog champion of the world! Each semi final will last for two days instead of the previous rounds’ one (to get more votes and to allow me time to make up the next semi final post ^_^) so vote hard and vote well people
May the best couple…err…get to have hot yuri secks afterwards. ^_^;;
They breezed through their heat with flying colours, but struggled a little in the quarters to secure a surprise win over competition favourites Shizuru and Natsuki – it’s Konoka and Setsuna from Negima!
This couple have been a constant crowd pleaser and have surprised us by getting through the heats and quarters without breaking even a sweat (well, apart from the sheen of sweat signifying true yurilove, anyway ^_^) – it’s Kannazuki no Miko’s Chikane and Himeko!

I think the fact that these two couples are very similar in relationship is pretty ironic. Voting Konosetsu though; underdogs FTW!

Ohhhh! This is the toughest round yet and it was a difficult decision, but I bumped Chikane/Himeko into the lead 51/49. I find the closeness of this race amazing after 194 votes!

KonoSetsu ftw. This is fact. Still incredibly close at 222 votes, though our favourite samurai and her ojousama are just edging into the lead with 52%.

What?! Konosetsu leads 54-46 with 446 votes given! Considering I can’t think of hotter yuri pair than Chikane and Himeko either the world doesn’t know what’s good for it or I should really check out Negima. Probably both.

OMG! This poll needs to end now, NOW! I’ve been watching the numbers climb all day and this is like the only time I’ve seen it favourable for Chikane/Himeko, the only actual pair remaining in the top 4 with ACTUAL romance between the two in the story. How come subtext can beat real emotion???

two hands, u think “cute” determines Yuri? come on now, then sakura and tomoya kicks the negima duo’s butts. Theu cuteness in KonoSetsu reminds me of middle/high school INFATUATIONS with other girls, powerful cuz they only interact with girls. on the other hand, Chikane and Himeko have had experience with both men and women, and they decided for themselves. plus they could always destroy the neigma two with giant robots.
plus, how many Yuri couple always get reborn as eternal lovers? the artworks for KnM tramples that of Negima.

Gotta agree with Akatsuki, there is NOTHING in term of actual relationship between Konoka and Setsuna, it’s just an one sided infatuation. Cute+loli+moe doesn’t equal to a good yuri couple, which are all the reasons that people have when voting for Konoka/Setsuna.

Still haven’t watched KnM, but just want to say at this stage, I’m sure they’re a cracking yuri couple. That’s what good competition is about – two couples that are both worthy of the prize coming up against each other. As it were. Ahem.
In any case, no need for bashing, eh, folks? Shall we not keep this as positive as possible? I hate to check in and find that people have been resorting to negative campaigns. After all, there’s so much goodness to celebrate, so why go to the dark side? ^_^

Spamming the poll everywhere is not enough. You need people who are willing to read it, who can read it (are right now in the net) and who are willing to react accordingly.
To get ca. 70 votes in the very last hour of vote and swing from 46% to 51%… I’m sorry that I’m not so naive anymore :)

drivebyposter, I don’t imply that *you* did it… but again, what’s the difference who. This poll voting system is flawed and practically anybody can cheat anytime if only know how to do it. Even if 99.9% of fans are honest (in what I believe) the single one black sheep is enough to ruin everything.
BTW, may I ask where is this magic place which is so konosetsu-centered that was able to provide (as you are claiming) these 70 votes in just less than one hour?

Please don’t turn this into a flame war people – with my limited knowledge of IP addresses and recent visitor statistics, I can’t tell for certain whether there was IP spam on either of the sides. Therefore the result stands.
