Yurivision starts tonight! Vote and everyone wins ^_^

In edit to previous comment, I couldn’t find an Eva/Chacha pic. I think I must have filed it IN MY DREAMS. Anyways, I spent last night with the list and came up with a relatively sensible order of events. The mob is broken down into two halves – Nishi (West) and Higashi (East). Each half is further broken down into Groups of 4 couples. In each heat, one group will battle it in a yurilicious love-down for your delectation – vote for your favourite couple! In each heat only one couple can go through to the quarter finals.
In each quarter final, the top and bottom halves of the Nishi and Higashi will smear Vaseline on tired lips and go in for a second serving. Same rules apply in this round – only one couple can go through from each half. The final 4 couples will then go for a semifinal, then a final showdown to see which couple comes out on top (so to speak) in the finest Yuri Showdown on the Interweb!
Voting will take place (hopefully – pending internet status) every day from now til about the 5th of June. I have helpfully provided a table of the battles to take place and their proposed dates (subject to unavoidable change). The table will always be available in the “Pages” column in the menu bar. The usual time for vote closing/opening will be 2100 GMT (that’s Greenwich mean time +0:00 for you foreign types), but this time too is probably subject to change.
Let’s just get things rolling and see how they go! Hopefully this will work out. If not, I’ll abandon it and never bring up the topic again in the entire future of Yuribou. It’s you, the reader’s chance to give your sixpenn-orth and you don’t even need to say a word!
Get voting and may the hottest yuri…err…come first. ^_^;; First group (Group A) starts at 2100 GMT tonight.
PS – It occurs to me that some of my readers might not know what the Eurovision Song Contest or “snogging” is, so I have provided helpful wikipedia links to this effect!

Looks good to me! I wish there was some way to bring in Eurovision political voting, but for the life of me I can’t think how that would work, except if all the characters were lumped into one vast Aniverse and the other members of each cast got to vote as well. And even then you probably still wouldn’t get the cast of Negima giving Shizuru/Natsuki nul points because the cast of Mai HIME insulted their neighbour once, x number of years ago.
The most important question though – do we get to see the competing pictures? Please say we do! Please! (I trust your selections… You’re a man of taste. ^_^)

(*ahem* it was my idea *ahem* – with many thanks for Nemo providing that timy spark of inspiration that made me run around shouting ‘YURIVISION SNOG CONTEST!’ on sunday morning ^_^)
